Care Instructions
  1. You can either use machine-wash or hand-wash to care for your silk. Wash silk separately from other fabrics.
  2. If using machine-wash for your silk you need to place it in a mesh bag and wash using cold water with gentle soap and softener at a low setting. DO NOT SPIN. Washing at a higher temperature or using regular detergents is harmful to the silk threads.
  3. Hand-washing is our preferred option but you would not go wrong with machine-wash either. To hand-wash, place silk in cold water and add gentle fabric soap/softener, soak for 20 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
  4. Do not apply friction, wring or rub excessively as silk is delicate and any rough application might damage or break its long strands.
  5. Shake off excess water and air dry. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. Silk has a very fast drying time so you do not need to worry about it drying quickly. Dry laying flat or on a hanger, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
  6. When completely dry, use a steamer to remove wrinkles or use an iron set to the lowest setting, ironing inside-out.  
Tip: When you hand-wash, you can remove excess water by pressing lightly between two towels.
